Men commit 79.4% of all suicides within the United States. It's a war on our gender and its about time we start fighting back!
79.4 percent- that equals around 24,000 thousand suicides every year.It means that everyday, 65 men choose to end their life, that equals almost 3 men every hour. Three of our brothers, of our fathers, grandfathers, sons, uncles,nephews, friends, husbands, lovers will choose to take their life this very hour.

First Post


I see you. I may not know who you are specifically but I see you and you are not alone.
Contemplating suicide is common to every man of all social, economic, age, race occupational, sexual orientation, and cultural backgrounds. Men who struggle with suicide can be found on the streets of our urban cities or on the dirt roads of rural America to Wall Street. He can be heterosexual, bi, gay, or questioning. He can be the jock, the nerd, or the freak. He can be old, middle aged, or young. He can be white, hispanic, asian, american indian, african american, or other. From the rich, famous, and muscular to the poor, unknown, scrawny guy- the point is that SUICIDE affects all of us and you are not alone.
You may think suicide is only about you. It's not. It's about all men too.
